Zoot
“Suddenly the world collapsed and everything went dark.”
Forget what you thought you knew of reality, for it is gone. The only life source left is trailing energy. You are now part of it.
Whether you become negative or positive energy is up to you, you choose. Just be aware that the opposite of your selection is coming to get you. In order to survive, the polarity of balance must be broken so that one can overtake, dominate and progress in the new Universe. Will you be the winning energy or are you about to become as extinct as Earth itself?
To be the surviving energy, you need to hunt down your polar opposite. You’ll know when you’ve caught it because a magnetic field will show up. Now, all you have to do is aim and fire but you’d better be fast! If your nemesis beats you to the punch, you’ll lose an energy point and be that much closer to oblivion.
Luckily, Zoot is a multi-player online game, so you’ll have help via a team of like-minded energy fighters. Together, you can gather the number of energy points required to reach victory and wipe out the enemy. Then, your survival is assured, at least until the next game.
This iPhone and iPod Touch app is intense. To help you win, it gives you Nukes for extra blasting power, along with a radar to track the movements of your team and those energies trying to invade you. You’ll be able to see a list of other players, their scores and how their doing with energy points too, so you always know what’s going on. That’s key for planning out your strategy.
You get great controls with Zoot. There’s a touch joystick, accelerometer and tilting control for this fun little app, as well as a text box feature to send messages to everyone in the field. Quad damage reports and energy rechargers are also available to further your cause and help you win.
The action in Zoot is just plain addictive. Your hours and hours of game playing feel like they’ve gone by lightning fast and it’s hard to stop because you get so involved.
There’s room on one of the teams, so why not hop in and try your hand at Zoot? You’re honestly missing out on a wild game if you don’t.
